March 20, 2025, will mark a milestone in the commitment of Colombian universities to sustainability. During the Assembly of Members of the Green Building Council Colombia (Colombia GBC), the official signing of the Sustainable University Campus Manifesto will take place, a document that outlines the roadmap for transforming academic spaces into models of sustainability, resilience, and environmental innovation.

This manifesto arises in response to the significant environmental challenges facing the planet, including climate change, biodiversity loss, and the need to adopt sustainable development models. Universities, as centers of knowledge and the formation of new generations, play a strategic role in building a future that is more responsible for the environment and society.

Towards a Sustainable Future in Higher Education

The signing of the Sustainable University Campus Manifesto during the Assembly of Members of Green Building Council Colombia (Colombia GBC) represents a collective commitment by universities to lead the transition toward environmentally responsible academic environments.
